Snowbear

Lynne Robinson, Hewitt, New Jersey

oh little snowbear
with that wistful look
will you come to life
and walk away
leaving the yard
for the woods?

Snowbear, a Sculpture in Snow
Created March 1, 2008 from four inches of
freshly fallen, dense, perfectly-packable snow.

You are a master sculpter!

My word is “cars”.  I think it’s a sign as to what you should make your next art work of. smile

(I’d think it was for me, but as you know, snow and I don’t get along very well!)

Awww ... he’s so CUTE! Do the living bears in your neighborhood notice snow bears? They must still be sleeping.

Thank you Susan. But, not quite a master ... it only took me about 15 minutes to make my creation!

Reya, I wish the bears in my neighborhood would show their faces! I was hoping to tempt them into my yard with my little one, but I think they are still in hibernation. We didn’t have as many coming around last year, so I hope we have more this year.
