Well I’m only one cheese into the season (made last Thursday) but today I really had the urge to be in the kitchen.
The only problem with this urge was that I did not have a spare moment until just a couple of minutes ago.

My dad bought a new laptop so I was getting everything set up for him including setting up a wireless network, print sharing and a dual boot system of Windows (boo) and Linux (YAY!). I had a good time doing these things but would have much rather been stirring curds and whey.

I’m really looking forward to the slower winter months when it seems that I have nothing BUT time on my hands.
Then I’m planning on settling into some serious cheese making.

Hope you all have had a great weekend so far.

Dave,

Sorry for the withdrawal, albeit for a very worthy cause.  Hopefully you can get a fix in the near future.
