Four Best Everglades Photos

On a recent business trip to Miami, Florida, I had a chance to visit the Everglades for a few hours. I took hundreds of photos, and here are what I think are the four best. I am thankful for digital photography!

  2. Rick, these turned out great! They make me miss my home state. (Even the alligators!) I especially like that top one with the colorful reflections—that’s terrific.

  4. Hope the alligator pics were taken with a telephoto!  I really like the second head-on one.  What are the birds in the last photo?  Great shot!

  5. The birds in the last photo are immature Great Blue Herons that are sitting in a nest. These babies have not yet left the nest, but were getting close to the age where they would leave.
