  1. Looks like a successful trip! The dogs like right at home in the enclosure. Good tips about picking your sites.

  2. Jenn, yes it really was! When are you picking up yours?? Any plans to take it out yet?

  3. I hope to pick it up n a couple of weeks. I will be driving to NY and camping in my brother’s backyard at the end of June for a graduation event and then packing it up and heading west for along trip starting the 4th of July weekend. I can’t wait!

  4. The awning really expands your living space…love it! Also the flag and spinner, so cute.

Live and learn about picking sites.  I would never have thought about it, but it seems so important now.

It is funny that Bella didn’t like the ladybug in her rearview “mirror!” And, so crazy what dogs do or don’t notice!

  5. Glad it didn’t rain and it was a good maiden voyage.  Did you crack a bottle of champagne on it before you left??!!  grin  I’m sure the girls will get used to it and love it just like going to the cabin!

  6. Bigsis, yes, it really does extend our living space, esp with the dogs.

C, yeah but the rains the previous day that left all the surfaces inundated was not good. We did the champagne christening right after she came home. smile

  7. I’m sure the more you set up camp, the faster and smoother the process will become. Looks like a great first trip!

  8. Looks like you’ve got the hard stuff figured out already.  We have only one dog, so our solution might not work with two, but we have a 15 ft. cable which we loop to one of the pull handles on the rear of our T@DA.  The other end is clipped to Jezzy.  Gives her a bit of room to sniff around.  She’s never outside unless we are too, so we don’t worry about the 6’ leash rule that’s in effect at most parks.

  9. Judy, well almost figured out! Our dogs have never been tethered before and I don’t think it would work with either one of them. With our luck, Bella, would pull the handles right off the T@B. We once tied a dog of ours (and she was not nearly as strong and large as Bella ) to our outside table before we had fencing in our new house. Before we knew it she took off after a rabbit and pulled our table right along with her. The table tipped over and our dinner, all the plates and wine glasses went crashing to the concrete patio.
So ... you can see why I am hesitant to fasten Bella to the T@B. wink
P.S. What do you do with Jezzy when you leave the T@DA to do other things that she can’t participate in?
