You’ve heard of Dog Day Afternoons, right? Well, here is a look at a Dog Day Morning. Four out of seven of our Berners enjoying the cool morning air. (Note: That’s Alex [left upside down] and Bode [right upside down]).

I never know what the morning is going to hold for me. The dogs or the cats somehow manage to think up something to make my early waking hours more challenging. This morning it was Millenia’s turn. At least we think it was Millenia. See photo attached and make your own determination! I came downstairs to find that someone had gotten into the trash in the laundry room. We’ve been painting (so far the living room this weekend) and I had a small amount of paint in a plastic glass that I was using to touch things up with. It was in the trash. This a.m. it was out of the trash, spilled all over the laundry room floor. Tell-tale painted footsteps led from the laundry into the kitchen, onto the throw rugs. Great. Another fun start to my day. Who do you think did it? (P.S. Millenia is wearing “Ivy Lane” by Benjamin Moore Paint)
It’s a dark, dreary afternoon here in NJ. It rained this morning and looks like it’s going to start again soon. It is only 1:30 p.m. but looks more like 8:30 p.m. I love it but the dogs are confused. They think I forgot to feed them. They’ve been dogging my footsteps for about an hour now, waiting and hoping to be fed. Coming from Colorado where it’s sunny 85% of the time they don’t know what a really cloudy day is like. They still have two more hours to wait. I hope they get used to cloudy days soon.
Welcome, I'm Lynne. You know me better as a 'new' Jersey Girl. But now I've moved back to my 'home' state and I am living in NoCo (Northern Colorado). This blog will be about my thoughts, good food, and of course, dogs.
