Cherrapy

IMG 8393

Or Cherry+Therapy = Cherrapy! Yesterday I drove down to Branch Brook Park in Bloomfield. The cherry trees were at their peak and the day was perfect for drinking in their sweet blossoms. Rather than overload an entry with multiple photos I chose to show my favorites one at a time. Then I'll put you into cherry tree overload.

Branch Brook has over 4,000 cherry trees; the largest collection of Japanese flowering trees in one location in the United States. Not what you expect in a suburb of Newark, New Jersey, right?

Be sure to come back for more Cherrapy in the next few days!
