Pasqueflowers
A nice bunch of Pasqueflowers. Photo taken on 5/6/2005 by Lynne. These flowers were under snow just a few days earlier. The Pasqueflower is one of the earliest flowers to appear at the cabin in Spring. I think they are related to the crocus.

Phlox
This photo of Phlox was taken by Rick on 5/6/2005. It seems a bit early for Phlox, this was the only flowering plant we saw. I am unsure of the exact variety. They bloom in white, purple, and blue mostly along disturbed areas (like roadsides) around the cabin.

Need Help on this One!
Photo by Lynne on 5/18/2005. We don’t know what this is or how much more it might bloom. The flower is about 4 inches tall. There are tiny, tiny yellow “flowers” all along the top.
