Thanks, Bala. Yeah, the baddies can cause some real problems. My site, which generally gets a couple of hundred hits a day, was getting hit thousands of times an hour by a comment spammer last week. Many posts in my “old” site (which hosts these forums, for now), got comment spam for online gamers. The culprits were from Russia. Luckily, I was able to detect it and ban them, along with an emergency software update from my vendor, and prevent a total disaster. It wasn’t too hard to clean up after them either. Still, what a pain!
