You’ve probably noticed that I have not posted much lately. I don’t make cheese in the summer, it is just too hot and nice outside to spend a day in the kitchen. However, by now, I’ve usually made quite a few batches. But, so far, not this year. I’m having a hard time getting into it given what all is happening.

First, it doesn’t seem like winter! It is warm and dry and windy. Also, I’ve been laid-off at work, so Lynne and I are spending most of our time working on the house getting ready to sell it and possibly move. If I get a job, we’ll move there (nothing likely in Northern Colorado). If I don’t, we’ll move to the cabin. Wherever we end up, I’ll get started on cheesemaking again as soon as I can because we are really missing the fresh home-made cheeses!
