Kefir as starter

Anyone out there got any thoughts about the concept of using kefir as a starter culture? I’ve been making kefir for a long time but it only occurred to me today that it might make a cheese starter…...I guess this calls for another experiment.

Any culture will do,Yogurt/Kefir/Butter milk,  its the cheese characteristics that the proper cultures will give.
